Rick, I see in your signature that you are trying to bring back the ec12. Are hulls or plans available in Canada? Once the little J boat is done I would like to do an ec12. Tom | |

Moderator Posts: 90 | Tom The ec12 is a one design class like the m12. There are a few suppliers that have a licence to produce ec12 hulls. Very expensive boat to build from new but check out the amya and they have a list of the suppliers. I bought a very old boat from an estate and registered it with the ec12 registry. I stripped it out and put modern servos and masts and sails. Revamped the deck to make it look like the modern boats. They are a beautiful hull to sail. If you are going to race in the registered races get a new or used modern hull. If not do what I did and find an old one and modernize it. | |
