Scot don't blame the 'painter'... you must have been "Goomed" Kevin does like to go over the top framing where as the REALLY FAST boats are built by minimalists:) Seen the pictures of Rick's deck framing??? I honesttly though he had got the chain saw out and dropped a few treess to get the lumber for the deck framing! All that to say I am making excuses so IF they are slow its not the hull molders fault but abuse of an ultra light weight shell thorugh the addition of to much wood... Not to fret, even the 'heavy ones' seems to be darn fast ::)

Tall Ships event Dates September 13-16 Google map coordinates (if the link doesn't work - copy and paste in your browser) Expected turn out??? Possibly 100k or more over 4 days??? - we typically get 30k plus at the Classic Boat show over three days:mad: No place for stage fright! http://maps.google.ca/maps?hl=en&ll=45.508407,-73.548231&spn=0.004714,0.011362&t=h&z=17 Looking to possibly organize the Mini 12 Nationals there on the Saturday parking - looks like we will have access to the parking lot at the Clock Tower marina and a golf cart shuttle service to move boats to the sailing site Tall Ships and static display will be on the west side at the Jacque Carterier Pier. Live entertainment and LOTS of other activities planned - great event for a family outing right in the heart of Old Montreal... lots of work to do but could be one fantastic venue to get our hobby some attention! Will need the support of the Ottawa and the other Mini fleets to make it a success - more details to follow. will be sailing and operating scale models all 4 days so again - outside participation is VERY welcome any time over the 4 days

S50 #10 is back at the painter's. He was as upset as I about the imperfections in the paint - with a little luck I'll have it back in a week.
