Ottawa Area Model Yacht Club

Many thanks to all the sailors who came to support this charity at Andrew Haydon Park on Sunday 23rd Sept.  The organisers were very grateful for the support, and the entertainment value we provided for the walkers.  Also great to see Bernie healthy and sailing again - first time in two years.

Bernie never stops amaze me... the more challenges life throws at him the more he kicks it in the arse and comes back for more Few 'lessons' to be learned there, like stop grumbling and keep kicking ! PS you guys missed some fun at the Tall Ships event in Montreal... next year hopefully we will have some visitors from the sailing fleet to augment the Ottawa scale modelers whi DID make the trip down and had a great time
