About Me
I've been a Modeller since the 1960's and built a couple on sailboats in the 1970's, one of which I still have and when my 2 year old second cousin came to visit the cottage last summer I thought of recommisioning it or of getting something better. Weeds are an issue at the cottage and Fred Zufelt recommended I get a Mini 12 and let me try his father Jim's boat. I was impressed with the performance and turning ease and ability not to pick up weeds but didn't like the string winch system. I spotted Tony's ad for his Mini 12 and purchased it and have installed my radio, made some changes and have done some test sailing at the cottage. I plan to sail at my Mississippi lake cottage during my vacation but when I am in Ottawa working during the week I hope to get out some Wednesday evenings to see the members and learn a few things about setting up the boat for better performance.

About Me
I remember those days as a kid in Montreal, sail boats on the water, in the park. I love'd it. Now I have boats, power-boats, but that won't stop me from talking to any and all marine modellers. After all, we certainly have lots in common, so thank you for sharing your ideas with me.

Former Boat build in Ottawa, I worked for Skene Boats and in 1980 opened Fibron Industries a composite shop. Now Living in Montreal and still somewhat involved in composites industry. 5 years ago I joined WISMC and got involved in competitive Model boat building and sailing. Many ours of fun with really great guys. Most weekends’ I go to our cottage just passed Calibogie and sail the Mini 12. Sure would be fun to have more boat at the cottage. ;))))

About Me
I live in Chelsea, Qc, on a waterfront property and I build mini 12's with my dad. I am currently 17 and love sailing these model sailboats. I started with my dad in 2006 and finished my first M12 in 2007. I'm currently in the process of building my second M12. I haven't yet raced, but this summer I'm planning on going to Andrew Hayden Park to race my new boat. I did an error in the building of my first M12, the mast position dosen't conform to the rules (it is an inch off), so I can't race it. My second M12 looks fantastic! I will also post many questions because I am new to this hobby.

I am on the north side of 60 yrs old. I have 2 M12's (one still under development lol), an S50 ( needs sails) and an EC12 . I have been away from sailing for awhile and started building and racing gas RC hydroplanes. Hope to get back to sailing soon. Rick
